Rock and Kelly have exhausted the last of their luck when the power goes out in the abandoned warehouse they've been squatting in. Just as they resign themselves to seeking soul-sucking employment, they are accosted by a powerful alien who has mistaken them for the Defending Champions of the Universe! These slackers suddenly find themselves with cosmic powers and responsibilities they never asked for.
With a mix of reluctance and growing curiosity, they navigate an interstellar conflict while trying not to destroy Earth in the process. Can these accidental heroes rise to the occasion, or will they find a way to pass the buck?
